Fables & Fantasies (solo), GUY PIETERS GALLERY, Knokke, BE, AUG 5 - AUG 31
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” Pillows support objects which at first sight refer to reality. However, they prove to be phantasmagoric shapes that point at a “different” actuality. The pillows are metaphors for dream and sleep, indispensable processes which allow man to discover new worlds and break boundaries. The objects are multiform dreams that take shape, escaping their womb, to transform and take their place in our worlds whilst in confrontation with one another.
Discover the dreamlike works during a solo exhibiton at Guy Pieters Gallery at Knokke Zeedijk opening on the 5th of August, on view until the 31st of august.
